Ensemble Schedule
First Notes (K–1st Grade)
- Tuesdays from 2:45–3:30pm at St. Mary’s of the Assumption OR
- Tuesdays from 4–4:45pm at William H. Lincoln School
Melody Ensemble (2nd–3rd Grade)
- Tuesdays from 5–6pm at William H. Lincoln School OR
- Wednesdays from 2:45–3:45pm at St. Mary’s of the Assumption
Harmony Ensemble (3rd–5th Grade)
- Thursdays from 4:15–6:15pm at First Parish in Brookline
VOICES Boston Children’s Choir (6th–8th Grade)
- Mondays and Wednesdays: 5–7pm at First Parish in Brookline
Session Information
VOICES Boston programming takes place throughout the year, across three sessions:
This session takes place during the months of September to December and culminates in our Sounds of the Season Concert.
Repertoire and training this session is tailored towards:
- building healthy vocal technique
- breathe support
- phonation
- musical literacy
- foreign languages
- foundations of singing
This session takes place during the months of January to March and culminates in our Sounds of Spring Concert. We focus on refining technique and exploring various vocal styles, including:
- contemporary music
- movement
- modern text and poetry setting
- foreign languages
- modern themes
